POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Supply Chain role at Hawaiian Host Group (HHG) is responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of the company’s supply chain operations. This dynamic, highly visible senior leadership role requires hands‑on, practical, and cross‑functional approach to supply chain management. The role leads, oversees, and is responsible for Contract Manufacturing (Co‑Man), Procurement, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Sales/Inventory/Operations Planning (SIOP).

Additionally, this Director role is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), focused on running the day‑to‑day business and supporting the execution of the company’s strategy. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history of people development, supply chain leadership, strong tactical execution, systems excellence, and driving continuous supply‑chain improvement initiatives in a complex fast‑paced CPG environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Key focus on Contract Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain Systems (ERP, software, technology improvements), and evolving SIOP as the primary cross‑functional process that drives business results across the company.
  • Serve as a strategic, cross‑functional leader, guiding key supply chain functions and collaborating closely with all areas of the business. Requires exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills to drive alignment, foster collaboration, and deliver integrated solutions across the organization. Acts as an advisor and collaborator to the COO on Supply Chain Strategy and collaborates closely with the ELT and SLT.
  • Support the SIOP / S&OP program and process. Coach and develop the Demand Planning/SIOP Manager and work cross‑functionally across the business to drive revenue growth, EBITDA growth, improve gross margin, deliver exceptional customer service, reduce cost, and reduce waste while building supply chain excellence.
  • Dynamically manage commodity PPV to optimize financial results for the business, including understanding and reacting to commodity markets, positional hedging, tariffs, and timing of procurement and production around dynamic market changes at the commodity level.
  • Drive excellence with supplier performance and cost management across all inputs to the manufacturing of high‑quality products.
  • Develop and elevate the Supply Chain function by building a high‑performing team, optimizing organizational structure, enhancing cross‑functional collaboration, and advancing key capabilities including MRP, demand planning, and a fully integrated S&OP process to support enterprise‑wide planning and execution.
