Job Description

We are looking for an attorney with experience in the businesses of music and entertainment and those issues facing global icons and brands. We are looking for someone to join us in creating client strategy, development and representation, utilizing their abilities to think critically, contribute and creatively problem solve.

The Manatt Entertainment Litigation team is a close-knit group of attorneys and professionals who provide excellent service, create growth opportunities and safeguard our clients’ interests through pragmatic problem-solving and, when necessary, zealous advocacy. We represent icons, global brands, select companies, cutting-edge and forward-thinking disruptors, developing and emerging talent, executives, and good ideas. • Handle disputes in music, film, entertainment and adjacent fields
• Lead teams of junior associates, consultants and professionals
• Further develop critical thinking and strategy in the world of intellectual property

• 3-5 years of litigation experience in the entertainment industry
• Demonstrates core litigation skills, including trial and case leadership preferred
• Copyright experience a plus but not required
• Demonstrates initiative and confidently says “I can do that” when faced with opportunities or challenges
• Bring courage and openness to collaboration
• Maintains a visionary and positive outlook on the future of entertainment law
• Communicates effectively and articulately, with strong verbal and written skills
• Must have California Bar membership in good standing

The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. Additional medical, financial and/or other benefits will be offered dependent on the position.

US Pay Range

$260,000—$365,000 USD
