The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognized subrogation litigation law firm that is expanding its Los Angeles attorney team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil litigator who wants to take ownership of files and work in a supportive, team-oriented environment—without the rigid “big firm mold.”

The firm is looking for a true go-getter
: someone who drives litigation forward, takes initiative, and excels at insurer-facing reporting and communication.

Key Responsibilities

The attorney will serve as the primary handling lawyer on assigned matters and will manage cases through all stages of litigation, including:

• Court appearances and motion practice
• Taking and defending depositions
• Mediations and settlement negotiations
• Pre-trial preparation and trial participation
• Working closely with experts across multiple disciplines
• Providing timely and high-quality reporting and updates to insurer clients

Required Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 2+ years of strong civil litigation experience - Insurance Defense ideal
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and take ownership of results
• Strong legal writing, analysis, and advocacy skills
• Excellent communication skills, especially in reporting to insurer clients
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment
