The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Finance associate to join the Finance & Transactions team in our Chicago or Los Angeles office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. AboutYou
- You have 3-6 years of transactional/M&A experience at a law firm, primarily focused on private company M&A;
- Your experience includes private equity/sponsor clients on acquisitions, dispositions and growth equity;
- You are able to be the lead on initial stages of a deal, such as negotiating a term sheet and drafting (or marking up) the first draft of a purchase/merger agreement;
- You have experience managing multiple matters simultaneously;
- You have a J.D. degree (or its equivalent) and strong academic credentials; and
- You are admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois or California).

- $260,000 - $340,000 annual base salary
