Job Overview

A well-established, full-service top-tier law firm is hiring a partner-track Employment Litigation Associate for its Labor & Employment practice in Los Angeles. The team represents organizations across industries in complex employment disputes, including single-plaintiff litigation and wage & hour class actions.

This role is built for an associate who can take ownership, write persuasively, and deliver exceptional client service. • Defend employers in all phases of employment litigation, including motion practice and discovery
• Handle wage & hour class actions and representative actions, including strategy and case management
• Draft and argue (as appropriate) pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery motions
• Manage written discovery, depositions, and case-related investigations
• Prepare witnesses and help shape litigation strategy for hearings, mediations, and trial
• Coordinate closely with cross-office teams to deliver seamless client support
• Communicate with clients regularly and provide practical, business-minded guidance
• Support settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution efforts

• 4–6 years of substantive experience in employment litigation defense required
• Meaningful wage & hour class action experience required
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal research and writing skills, with strong attention to detail
• Admitted to practice law in California (CA Bar required)
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across offices
