Recruiting Manager - 8x Presidents Club / CEO ClubMy client, a well known National Law Firm, is seeking a talented junior associate with 2+ years experience in labor and employment law to join their growing management-side practice in their Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you will do- Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant matters.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and manage all facets of the discovery process.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Support partners and senior associates in case strategy, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties professionally and effectively.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local employment law.
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California state bar required.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle discovery independently.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service and professional growth.
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $205,000–$240,000, depending upon experience and other relevant factors. This is a generous bonus-eligible job that features a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.
