Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and passionate Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join our growing team. While employment litigation experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong foundation in other areas of litigation who can demonstrate transferable skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing cases independently and collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys. Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of employment law matters from intake through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft complaints, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Advise clients on their legal rights, risks, and potential outcomes
- Participate in strategy development with partners and team members
- Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings
- Second or third-chair jury trial and arbitrations
Skills & Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar
- 1-3 years of employment law litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side
- Proficiency in managing wrongful termination and sexual harassment litigation
- Strong knowledge of California 91604, Los Angeles, California, United States employment laws and civil procedure both on a state and federal level
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
- Effective oral advocacy and client communication abilities
- Experience conducting and responding to discovery, taking depositions, and preparing for trial
- Strong organizational and case management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to representing employees with integrity and empathy
- Previous experience in wrongful termination and sexual harassment litigation
- Comfortable using case management software and legal research tools
- Proactive, driven, and passionate about employee advocacy
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and mission-driven environment
