• Salary range $150,000 – $200,000, based on experience

We are seeking a Civil Defense Litigation Associate to join our Los Angeles office in the heart of Downtown/Bunker Hill. This is a full‑time opportunity with flexibility for in‑office or hybrid work, depending on the candidate's preference.

• Independently manage a caseload of civil defense litigation matters with minimal supervision
• Handle all phases of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, law and motion practice, and trial preparation
• Serve as the primary handling attorney on assigned cases, with regular client communication and updates
• Work closely with a collaborative team of experienced litigators in a supportive, team‑driven environment
• Deliver high‑quality legal work within a 1,900‑hour annual billable requirement

• 2–8 years of experience in civil litigation defense
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in public entity defense, insurance defense, or business litigation
• Ability to take ownership of cases and thrive with autonomy
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
