Job Overview:
A leading full-service law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its commercial real estate practice. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and development. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with significant client interaction and responsibility.
Location:
Duties:
- Represent clients in complex commercial real estate transactions
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including:
- Purchase and sale agreements
- Joint venture agreements
- Development agreements
- Conduct due diligence, review titles and surveys, and coordinate closings
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout all transaction phases
- Take on substantial project responsibilities and contribute to strategic planning
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate law
- Background in acquisitions, dispositions, finance, joint ventures, and development
- Ability to manage projects independently within a team environment
- Experience in a large law firm setting preferred
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
Certifications:
- Admission to the California Bar
- In good standing with relevant licensing authorities
Skills:
- Superior drafting and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong time management
- Proactive, collaborative, and client-focused
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
