Our client, a prestigious Am Law 200 firm, is actively seeking a dedicated attorney to join its Litigation Business Unit in Southern California. Aboutthe Opportunity:
This role offers the unique opportunity to focus exclusively on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation. While direct warranty experience is not required, candidates must possess a strong foundation in trial and arbitration preparation, including motion practice, depositions, and mediations. You will leverage your advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills to deliver high-quality work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation.
- Significant experience in trial and arbitration preparation.
- Conducting motion practice.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Participating in mediations.
- Conducting thorough legal research.
- Drafting persuasive legal writings.
- Engaging in effective negotiation.
- Delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
- Mid- to senior-level Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience.
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
- Significant experience in trial and arbitration preparation, including motion practice, depositions, and mediations.
- Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Remote or in one of their offices, as long as you are a member of the CA BAR and based in CA.
$170,000 to $200,000 plus bonus.
