Real Estate Investment and Finance Associate; Los Angeles

Overview

Katten, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Investment and Finance Associate to join its Los Angeles-Century City office. Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years of complex commercial real estate experience at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm and be admitted to the California State Bar. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and take ownership of work assignment responsibilities.

• Support real estate debt and equity transactions
• Draft transactional documents, including equity operating agreements, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements
• Conduct transactional due diligence, including title and survey matters
• Manage all aspects of transactional closings

• 2-4 years of complex commercial real estate experience at a national or regional law firm
• Admission to the California State Bar

The estimated salary range for this role is $235,000 - $310,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to: relevant experience and work history, graduation and class year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
