D3 Search is seeking an Associate Attorney (2-4 years) on behalf of a prominent and well-established plaintiff law practice (catastrophic injury, class action, sex abuse, complex litigation & mass torts, employment, etc.) situated Woodland Hills, CA (91367).

Well-established & respected plaintiff law practice situated in the heart of Woodland Hills, CA (91367) is actively seeking an Associate Attorney (2nd-4th year ~ plaintiff background).

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Draft pleadings (complaints, motions, oppositions);
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions;
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court;
• Take and defend percipient and expert depositions;
• Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials;
• Active participation in trial;
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to work up case file;
• Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation, active participation in negotiating settlements;
• Regular client communication;
• Assist in management of litigation assistants and paralegals;
• Attend regular trainings for professional development.

• Candidate has a JD degree and is admitted to the California Bar;
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills;
• Highly motivated to learn and grow;
• Very well organized;
• Resourceful and persistent;
• 2-4 years civil litigation or personal injury/sex abuse experience highly preferred.

JD degree is required.
