Temp-to-perm Corporate Associate

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s client has an immediate need for a temp-to-perm Corporate Associate.

Overview: Our client is seeking a full-time Corporate Associate on a temp-to-perm basis.

Company: AmLaw 200 Firm

Experience: Successful candidates will have 5+ years experience.

Location: Hybrid. Tuesday-Thursday in Century City.

Responsibilities Include:

Our client seeks candidates with general corporate law firm experience. Specific experience in areas of mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, securities, private equity and finance is helpful, with a preference for candidates who have prior M&A experience.

Ideal candidates should have excellent drafting, writing and analytical skills, accurate and strong attention to detail, high level of organization, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and people.

Candidates must have strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience from similarly-situated firms. Admission to the California bar preferred.

Qualifications Include:

• J.D. and barred with good standing (California bar preferred)
• 5+ years of corporate experience, with prior experience at a similarly-situated law firm
• Excellent drafting and writing skills, highly-organized, and strong interpersonal skills.
• M&A experience is preferred

Pay Range: $100-120/hour
