Key Responsibilities- Advise seniors and families on long‑term care planning and Medicaid / benefits eligibility
- Structure asset protection and financial preservation strategies
- Draft advance directives, healthcare proxies, and powers of attorney
- Handle guardian ships, conservatorships, and protective proceedings
- Prepare and administer special needs trusts and disability planning vehicles
- Counsel clients on elder abuse prevention and advocacy matters
- Support related estate planning, probate, and trust administration work
- Work closely with families, care providers, and fiduciaries
- 1–10+ years of elder law, probate, or trusts and estates experience
- Background in long‑term care or Medicaid planning preferred
- Experience with guardian ships or conservatorships strongly valued
- Admission to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required
- Strong client counseling and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and solutions‑focused approach
- Ability to manage sensitive family and financial issues
- Lower billable pressure compared to traditional Big Law
