Position
Description:
Our client is seeking a senior Real Estate Finance Attorney to join its Real Estate practice in Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated lender-side transactions in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading complex real estate finance deals and will act as a deputy to a senior partner. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work remotely when needed, while maintaining regular in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities- Structure and document complex debt and equity financing arrangements
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
- Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review
- Handle securitized lending and commercial leasing matters
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with senior partners
- 7+ years of experience in real estate finance transactions
- Strong proficiency in lender-side work and ability to lead deals
- Expertise in complex financing structures, documentation, and due diligence
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with remote flexibility
- Counsel-level experience or readiness for partnership track
- HUD experience
- Prior experience acting as deputy to a senior partner
