Associate Attorney (General Liability/Professional Liability) - Hybrid Position in Los Angeles, CA

Premier law firm is currently looking to hire an Associate Attorney to join their general liability and professional liability practice in their down-town Los Angeles location. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability and/or professional liability. Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, along with significant expertise in discovery and law and motion practice, are essential.

Responsibilities

• The Associate Attorney will collaborate with clients to identify optimal legal conflict resolutions and strategies.
• They will attend court hearings and legal proceedings, conduct legal research, and work closely with senior attorneys to provide legal counsel.
• Preparing various legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and legal proceedings.
• Maintain open communication with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case management.
• Organize case files to ensure easy accessibility for fellow attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential for effective collaboration with staff and clients at all levels.
• Ability to work harmoniously with partners and fellow attorneys to effectively serve client needs and contribute to the growth of the client base.
• Minimum 3 years of general liability and/or professional liability experience
• Active membership in good standing with the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Successful completion of the bar exam is a prerequisite.
• Possession of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school is mandatory.
