Associate Attorney - Employment Defense (Wage and Hour, PAGA, Class Actions)

The practiceYou will work on a range of employment defense matters, focusing on wage and hour, PAGA, and class and representative actions. Typical responsibilities include:
- Defending employers in individual, class, and PAGA actions
- Drafting and arguing dispositive and class‑related motions
- Managing written discovery and e‑discovery in complex cases
- Taking and defending depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses
- Participating in mediations, settlement strategy, and trial preparation
- Advising clients on litigation risk and strategy
This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, structured to support flexibility and collaboration. In‑office expectations vary by team, but mentorship, accessibility, and professional development remain consistent priorities.

Compensation, bonuses, and growth- Base compensation range: $170,000 – $230,000 per year, depending on experience and fit
