Pay:
Base pay $80k + monthly bonus

• Work in a busy boutique California law firm specializing in workers’ compensation defense.
• Serve as a detailed‑oriented Workers’ Compensation Paralegal, proficient in case management.
• Support attorneys through all stages of the claim lifecycle, working one‑on‑one with an attorney.
• Rate and review med‑legals.
• Apply knowledge of Merus Case (preferred).
• Understand EDD/TTD/permanent disability and calculate retro TTD exposure.
• Analyze records and determine their applicability to a case.
• Summarize claims concisely.
• Draft case summaries and status reports.
• Maintain case files and ensure accuracy of data in case management systems.
• Identify critical issues that the attorney needs to address.

• 100% of your medical insurance coverage, 50% for any spouse or dependents.
• Office paid lunches every Friday.
• Generous bonus structure, employer retirement contribution, and year‑end bonus that could increase total yearly earnings to over $100,000 for the right candidate.

• Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, legal assistant program, or equivalent (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in workers’ compensation law (required).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
