Nationally acclaimed full-service Am Law 200 business law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Recovery Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing coverage and recovery group that includes a large sports insurance component (representing/counseling athletes, teams, and leagues). This position is onsite at the firm’s Los Angeles, California office. Ideal candidates must be California barred, will have experience in dealing with coverage and recovery issues arising out of general liability policies and must also have a policyholder/plaintiff mindset.
Qualifications- Must have a California Bar license in good standing
- Must have a 3-5 years of experience in dealing with coverage and recovery issues arising out of general liability policies, Directors & Officers and Errors & Omission, as well as others, sports insurance experience is a plus
- Must have a policyholder/plaintiff mindset
- Must have excellent writing skills and knowledgeable in discovery and motion practice
- Must have strong legal research skills
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be motivated to learn and grow professionally
