Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, self-starter and detail-oriented bilingual Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney to represent clients in matters before USCIS, EOIR, ICE and DOS.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Represent and prepare clients for immigration interviews and court hearings
- Prepare filings, motions, and briefs with precision and care
- Draft motions, waivers, request for evidence replies, and appeals to USCIS, EOIR BIA, and 9th Circuit
- Efficient case management
- Organize, plan, and schedule filing of cases on a priority basis
- Stay informed about changes in immigration law and procedures
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Fluency in Spanish required
- 5+ years of experience representing clients in family immigration matters
- Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and case management software skills
- Ability to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues
- Substantially self-sufficient in day-to-day case handling
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting
- Team player with exceptional communication and analytical skills, ability to work independently, a strong work ethic, and a positive client-centered approach
