Bilingual; Spanish Immigration Attorney

Position: Experienced Associate Immigration Attorney

Experience Level: 5+ years (Motivated candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply).

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated, self-starter and detail-oriented bilingual Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney to represent clients in matters before USCIS, EOIR, ICE and DOS.

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Represent and prepare clients for immigration interviews and court hearings
• Prepare filings, motions, and briefs with precision and care
• Draft motions, waivers, request for evidence replies, and appeals to USCIS, EOIR BIA, and 9th Circuit
• Efficient case management
• Organize, plan, and schedule filing of cases on a priority basis
• Stay informed about changes in immigration law and procedures

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Fluency in Spanish required
• 5+ years of experience representing clients in family immigration matters
• Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and case management software skills
• Ability to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues
• Substantially self-sufficient in day-to-day case handling
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting
• Team player with exceptional communication and analytical skills, ability to work independently, a strong work ethic, and a positive client-centered approach
