About the Role
This role is for an experienced Service of Process professional who understands California service requirements and can manage assignments from intake through completion. You’ll coordinate daily service activity, handle compliance checks, and maintain accurate records from start to finish.
This is not an entry-level position
. Prior hands‑on experience with service of process or litigation support roles is required.
- Review legal documents for service, including summons, subpoenas, and notices.
- Coordinate daily service assignments with process servers and internal teams.
- Track service attempts and updates accurately in our systems.
- Ensure compliance with California Code of Civil Procedure and local court rules.
- Communicate professionally with clients, law firms, affiliates, and internal departments.
- Support department priorities and related operational needs as required.
- 2+ years of experience in service of process or a related litigation support role.
- Solid working knowledge of California service laws and requirements.
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working in databases, tracking systems, and document workflows.
- Professional, dependable team player.
- Must be able to work on-site in our Los Angeles office.
