What We're Looking ForWe're seeking an Ecommerce Manager to own and elevate the day-to-day performance of our Shopify storefront, while leading and developing a small team. This is a hands‑on role at the center of site experience, conversion, and platform execution — the person who makes sure every page, every launch, and every test is driving results.
The Role- Lead day-to-day site operations: content updates, campaign launches, QA, and launch readiness across all key pages from landing page to checkout.
- Monitor site performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities to optimize conversion, improve UX, and keep leadership informed with actionable insights.
- Manage our Shopify ecosystem including apps, CMS workflows, and the full end-to-end customer journey.
- Drive a test-and-learn culture alongside marketing and merchandising, owning A/B testing and personalization from hypothesis to results to roadmap.
- Translate cross-functional priorities into clear, actionable site execution plans with defined timelines and dependencies.
- Support the development and launch of new site capabilities and features that enhance the customer experience and drive growth.
- Partner with wholesale and retail teams to deliver a seamless omnichannel experience that reflects the ASTR brand at every touchpoint.
- 5+ years of ecommerce experience, with at least 3 years in site management or digital operations.
- Hands‑on Shopify expertise across the platform, app ecosystem, and integrations.
- Proven CRO and A/B testing experience; able to design tests, read results, and turn them into a prioritized roadmap.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify analytics, and funnel reporting.
- Strong design sensibility with solid Figma and UI/UX skills for ecommerce experiences.
- Comfortable working with developers, translating business needs into clear technical briefs.
- Proficient in project management tools like Jira to manage sprints and keep teams aligned.
- Working knowledge of performance marketing and SEO and how they connect to on‑site conversion.
- Equal parts strategic and executional; able to align stakeholders on a vision and roll up your sleeves to execute.
