Overview
Contract Senior Marketing Lead, Acquisition – Sherman Oaks, CA. This position is a 3-6 month contract to start, with the potential for full-time hire based on performance and business needs. The role is hybrid-based out of Los Angeles, CA. Office Shift, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities- Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms
- Drive full-funnel strategy to increase acquisition efficiency, customer value, and long-term business impact — not just short-term conversions
- Analyze user behavior and performance metrics to deliver actionable insights that fuel the acquisition strategy
- Execute A/B and multi-factor testing to uncover growth opportunities and improve funnel efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies on campaign strategy, creative development, and performance analytics
- Present performance updates, learnings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
- Report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, Acquisition (or designee), and own day-to-day paid marketing operations
- 5+ years’ experience in performance marketing or a similar growth-focused role
- Proven hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads and/or Meta campaigns
- Deep understanding of analytics platforms like Google Analytics and the ability to turn data into insight and action
- Strong storytelling skills using data—confident in building reports and presenting to stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to testing, learning, and optimizing
- Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with large datasets
- Degree in marketing, economics, business, or a related quantitative field
