Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing
You've actively managed and executed social campaigns in the last 12 months.
You are either currently working within a brand or agency hands on within the growth/marketing team.
Sphere is a California-based technology and growth company for challenger consumer brands. Think Poppi, Necessaire, Khloud, Recess, Orion and many more. We combine proprietary data intelligence with forward-deployed marketing teams that execute.
We're looking for a Growth Strategist who understands that creative performance is the variable that determines campaign success. You can build sophisticated campaigns across Meta, Tik Tok, and Google—but more importantly, you can evaluate creative effectiveness, give actionable feedback, and structure testing frameworks that separate winning creative from losing creative.
This isn't media buying. It's creative performance optimization + strategic execution.
What You ll Own
Creative Performance Strategy
- Evaluate creative effectiveness across all assets (brand-produced, creator-generated, UGC)
- Analyze creative performance data: hook rates, hold rates, CTA effectiveness, platform-specific metrics
- Give specific, actionable feedback to brands and creators: "The first 3 seconds are weak—lead with the problem, not the product"
- Brief creators and internal teams on what to make next based on performance insights
- Structure creative testing frameworks (message, format, hook, CTA variations)
- Adapt creative strategy for platform-native performance (Tik Tok vs. Reels vs. You Tube vs. Stories)
- Know which creative to scale, which to kill, and which to iterate
- Translate performance data into creative direction that improves results
Technical Campaign Execution
- Build and optimize campaigns across Meta, Tik Tok, Google/You Tube, and OTT platforms
- Manage monthly media budgets with precision
- Expert-level platform fluency: targeting, bidding strategies, creative testing frameworks
- Understand the relationship between creative performance and algorithmic delivery
- Design, execute, and analyze growth experiments across channels and creative formats
- Run structured creative tests (message, format, hook, CTA) and extract learnings
- Document insights and build creative playbooks based on what drives results
- Synthesize performance data into executive insights (with the help of our data team/product)
- Build revenue and budget forecasts
- Contribute to monthly performance recaps and strategic planning
Who You Are
- 5+ years in growth marketing or performance creative roles (CPG/DTC experience strongly preferred)
- You have creative taste + data literacy — you can watch a piece of content and immediately know if it will perform, then articulate why
- Expert in Meta Ads Manager, Tik Tok Ads, Google Ads—you know these platforms intimately.
