• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or performing statistical analysis.
• 5 years of experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role.
• Experience in causal inference, A/B testing, statistical modeling, or machine learning.
• Experience in SQL and Python programming, leveraging ML or statistical libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Keras, Pandas).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with causal inference or bayesian statistics.

You Tube Marketing Data Science, Infrastructure and Analytics (DSIA) is an analyst team that influences and informs You Tube’s marketing and products teams. We work on projects that are at the heart of the go-to-market and brand strategy for You Tube using data to ensure our marketing efforts are efficiently and effectively deployed. This role will lead to a team that drives full stack measurement and insights for You Tube shopping and creator marketing.

In this role, you will work closely with You Tube’s marketing and product to grow our creator community with life-cycle communications that drive valuable creator actions (e.g., joining our shopping business generation programs, enabling channel memberships, adopting new features etc). You will develop an understanding of creator propensity and uplift from marketing such that interventions achieve outsized return on investment and are driving meaningful creator interactions.

You will also shape our initial viewer marketing to drive You Tube shopping, working closely with marketing, product, and engineering. You will ensure experimentation plans and signal mapping can grow awareness and adoption of You Tube shopping for our viewers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
