** Senior Business Analyst
** to join their Individual Retirement IT Product team. In this role, you will support the development and launch of new retirement and annuity products by analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and translating them into system specifications that drive effective technical solutions.
Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and other impacted groups, you will lead analysis efforts for complex business challenges and help deliver strategic solutions through technology. The role is heavily focused on gathering, validating, and analyzing requirements to support the build and implementation of new Annuity Retirement Products within the Policy Administration System (Navi Sys).
** Responsibilities:
*** Analyze business needs and provide recommendations and technical direction to support new or enhanced system functionality.
* Elicit, document, and manage moderately complex business and system requirements in partnership with business and development teams.
* Manage requirements scope and proactively identify and escalate risks or issues as needed.
* Research and assess existing business processes and systems to develop clear, logical requirements.
* Evaluate alternative solution options and recommend the most effective and cost-efficient approaches for system design.
* Participate in system projects involving complex functionality and multiple systems.
* Support projects with broader scope and cross-system dependencies, with guidance as needed.
* Actively contribute throughout the system development life-cycle, from design through implementation.
* Review technical designs and system specifications to ensure alignment with business requirements.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
* 10+ years of Information Technology experience, including 3+ years of progressive experience analyzing and solving business problems through business application development and implementation
* Strong analytical, interpersonal, relationship management, and written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRSs), user stories, and use case diagrams
* Solid understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, process workflows, and modeling
* ** High proficiency with SQL and relational databases
*** Extensive knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques
* Working knowledge of business unit processes, applications, and system/technology alternatives
* Experience working in both
** Waterfall and Agile
** delivery environments
* Strong experience creating process documentation and analytical reports
* Ability to translate complex data and requirements into clear, actionable insights
*
* Experience:
*** Knowledge of
** Annuity products**, including retirement product structures and calculations
* Prior experience supporting
** Annuity Retirement Product implementation**, including business rules and insurance regulations governing annuities (agent licensing, appointment processes, compliance reporting)
* Experience working with
** Policy Administration Systems**, particularly
** Navi Sys
* ** Strong ability to understand and implement complex business and financial calculations
* Experience working with
** sophisticated software solutions designed for life insurance and annuity carriers
*** Experience automating and managing core business processes such as
** policy administration, new business processing, claims, billing, and underwriting
