ABOUT THE ROLE
The Data Center Technician supports mission‑critical network and facilities infrastructure. In this role, you will provide customer support to Data Center and Network customers within the 24 x 7 x 365 Network Operations Center (NOC) that serves as our front line for network, data center, and security issues. This position is responsible for responding to Data Center support requests, resolving customer issues, and triaging alarms.

Data Center Technicians also support delivering new network services, data center customer installs, and troubleshooting. You’ll be expected to interface frequently with customers and vendors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Respond to and resolve operational issues, alarms, and maintenance of Data Center Infrastructure using BMS/NMS and physical inspections
• Perform report/smart hands requests for customers & on‑site access and assistance to customers
• Support partner teams internally (g.Field Ops, Fiber Eng. Data Prov, Sales/Sales Eng., Physical Security and Network NOC)
• Perform layer 1 installation work for new sales orders, disconnect/decommissioning orders & cable mining
• Inspect and accept daily inbound/outbound customer and internal shipments

Where You Will Work
Office:
Works onsite in a datacenter setting and may require some travel as needed. This position may require working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, and may involve on‑call availability. Travel to various work sites may be required.

Compensation
The pay range offered for this position is $24.38 - $33.51 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role‑related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
