IT Tech Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90020
Type: Contractor - Onsite Duration: 6 months

Job Summary: Bilingual Korean/English IT Tech Specialist to provide onsite hands‑on technical support for corporate office staff and retail store teams. The Specialist will troubleshoot hardware, software, network issues; support SAP and POS systems; configure new devices; manage IT assets; and ensure smooth day‑to‑day technology operations. Excellent communication, customer service and quick problem‑diagnosis skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily IT support to office employees and retail store associates.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, phones, and POS terminals.
- Set up and configure new equipment (PCs, monitors, scanners, POS registers).
- Install and maintain software, OS upgrades, and security patches.
- Support SAP access, user issues, printing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve POS hardware issues (receipt printers, scanners, payment terminals).
- Ensure network connectivity (wired & wireless) stability.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Support onboarding/offboarding tasks for accounts, access, and hardware.
- Work with support tickets, escalating as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide bilingual support in Korean & English.
- Bilingual Korean/English — required.
- 2+ years IT support experience (office or retail environment preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Experience with Windows OS, macOS, iOS.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Basic networking (wired/wireless).
- Remote support tools & ticketing systems.
- SAP & POS troubleshooting experience (preferred, not required).
- Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication & customer service skills.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or other certifications a plus.
