You will use your technical expertise to demonstrate the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to solve complex data challenges and help customers achieve their goals.

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use‑case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third‑party applications, ensuring they are excited by the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
• Act as a champion for customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data‑analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks’ technical community engagement by developing customer‑facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet‑ups.
• Opportunity to continue development in one of four tracks—technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management.

• 7+ years of customer‑facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre‑sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision‑makers and C‑level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams for long‑term customer success.
• Prior experience coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
• Hands‑on expertise with complex proofs‑of‑concept and public cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of technical solutions for specialized customer needs and competitive landscape navigation.
• Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.

Actual compensation packages are based on several unique factors, including job‑related skills, experience, certifications, training, and specific work location.
