We are looking for a Solution Engineer to partner with our sales executives as the key technical lead throughout the sales lifecycle of our business. In a consultative role, you will perform technical presentations of AvePoint solutions and provide pre‑sales support to prospective and returning customers. You’ll become an authority on the features and benefits of our software and services, educate customers, gain consensus, and demonstrate value for their Microsoft and multicloud concerns.
SpecificResponsibilities
- Present and demonstrate AvePoint’s solutions to both business and technical users.
- Facilitate solution discovery, overview, and technical deep‑dive sessions with customers.
- Build environments tailored to customer requirements as proof of concept during the sales lifecycle.
- Participate in writing proposals in response to RFIs/RFPs that showcase how the AvePoint product line solves the customer’s business objections.
- Collaborate regularly with product management as a field representative regarding product development and improvements.
- Establish relationships with key customer business and technical advocates that can drive long‑term AvePoint solution adoption.
- Develop customers’ buying vision for how AvePoint can help them reduce costs and increase business agility.
- Support AvePoint Marketing teams by developing and delivering product demonstrations, workshops, and white papers.
- Proven success in a customer‑facing, pre‑sales role proposing software solutions at all levels of a customer organization.
- Proficient in conversing with IT stakeholders and addressing common concerns around interoperability and differentiation from common enterprise systems.
- Capable of strategic thinking to facilitate deal closure, leveraging a blend of technical expertise and a sales‑oriented mindset.
- Comfortable presenting technical and business material to small and large groups across various levels.
- Rapidly comprehend, assimilate, and organize novel and intricate information while cultivating a deep understanding of client industries and associated application scenarios.
- Energetic, optimistic, and team‑oriented approach to work, with a strong sense of accountability and passion for responsibilities.
- Ability to travel as required by the role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified:
Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified:
Azure Fundamentals are a plus; we support tuition reimbursement if you pursue them.

The Salary Range for this role is $90,000 – $130,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate; final offers are based on location, experience, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include comprehensive benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
