OverviewThe Sr. Product Manager, Legal Innovation will serve as a technical strategist and product builder focused on transforming the delivery of legal services within our practice groups. At MoFo, we’re transforming the way we deliver legal services by deeply embedding technology & AI in our practice workflows.

Key Responsibilities- Critically analyze and reinvent workflows in collaboration with legal practitioners and operational teams to move beyond incremental improvements toward truly transformative delivery models.
- Design re‑imagined workflows, bespoke tools, and AI‑enabled solutions that significantly improve the delivery of legal services while maintaining our ethical and professional responsibilities.
- Secure high‑level buy‑in from partners, practitioners, and operational teams, acting as a persuasive advocate for the future of work.
- Apply Product Management rigor to the legal space—defining clear requirements, managing the product lifecycle, and partnering with engineering to execute against each solution.
- Rapidly prototype and execute no/low‑code solutions to prove value before scaling.
- Act as the primary lead for market analysis on emerging AI technologies and perform “make vs. buy” assessments.
- Continuously audit and manage the firm’s portfolio of legal innovation tools, performing gap analyses and deciding on decommission or replacement.
- Lead the execution of pilot and proof‑of‑concept programs, moving successful pilots from concept to enterprise‑grade deployment.
- Maintain a state‑of‑the‑art understanding of the GenAI landscape and evaluate new tools for potential application in Big Law.
- Analyze operational workflows within Transactional practices to architect comprehensive technology solutions.
- Serve as the primary translator between legal requirements and engineering, leveraging low‑code/no‑code platforms to prototype and integrate AI tools.
- Design and build agentic AI workflows capable of complex legal reasoning tasks.
- Leverage usage data and attorney feedback to refine internal tools.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify levers for improving matter profitability and align AI implementations with cost‑to‑serve analysis.
- Embed directly with deal teams to support targeted legal technology adoption.
- 5+ years experience as Product Manager with proven track record of taking a product from ideation to launch.
- Experience in big law environment preferred.
- Obsessed with GenAI trends and active experimentation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field; JD or MBA highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, RAG, Agentic frameworks) and low‑code/no‑code environments.
- Financial acumen and ability to articulate ROI of innovation investments.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO.
New York, San Francisco salary range: $184k to $257k.
Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. salary range: $175k to $244k.
