Doctronic is building the future of healthcare intelligence. As the BI Lead
, you will architect, build, and operationalize a new data lake and BI stack from scratch.
Base pay range: $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
Location: Remote (US‑based preferred)
Team: Data / Growth / Engineering
Reports to: Head of Marketing & Data
About Us: Our platform powers multi‑touch attribution (MTA) and advanced analytics. We are building a modern Python/FastAPI backend and a new data lake.
The Role: Hands‑on, build‑from‑scratch. You’ll architect the company’s first data lake, ingestion frameworks, and attribution pipelines, scale them into a robust BI environment, and drive attribution insights across the company.
Responsibilities- Architect & build a centralized data lake to unify raw, structured, and semi‑structured data.
- Define ingestion patterns for streaming and batch pipelines across internal apps, SaaS tools, APIs.
- Build pipelines that support advanced multi‑touch attribution models (rule‑based, probabilistic, ML‑driven).
- Deliver accurate, timely, and explainable attribution outputs for marketing spend decisions.
- Own ETL/ELT frameworks using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools; deploy workflows in FastAPI + Celery.
- Define schemas and data models feeding dashboards, experimentation, decision‑making.
- Enable self‑service analytics for marketing, product, and finance teams.
- Define data contracts, quality checks, documentation, access control (governance).
- Continuously improve cost efficiency, performance, and observability of the data stack.
- 7+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI roles.
- Strong experience designing and implementing data lakes/warehouses from scratch.
- Expertise with SQL and modern data warehouse/lakehouse technologies (Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, Delta Lake, etc.).
- Strong Python engineering skills; proven willingness to ramp into async patterns, FastAPI, Celery.
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, pipeline orchestration, API ingestion.
- Familiarity with attribution, experimentation, or marketing analytics.
- Excellent communicator capable of bridging technical and business teams.
- Exposure to marketing/healthcare data ecosystems (GA4, Freshpaint, Braze, ad platforms, EHRs).
- Hands‑on distributed computing (Spark, Dask).
- Experience leading a small team or mentoring juniors.
- Familiarity with HIPAA or regulated environments.
- Lead end‑to‑end build of a greenfield data lake and BI environment.
- Tackle attribution and compliance at scale in healthcare.
- High‑impact role shaping company architecture for years.
