Join Providence's Enterprise Information Services as a Principal IS Applications Analyst, leading the design, building and optimization of custom applications that power critical systems such as ERP, Epic, Revenue Cycle, HR and Supply Chain. This high‑impact role blends deep technical expertise with strategic vision, managing projects of all sizes, mentoring talent, and collaborating with business leaders to deliver smarter and more efficient solutions.

What

You'll Do
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology solutions to address business challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain the Legal technology roadmap; monitor and evaluate its effectiveness in meeting organizational goals.
  • Lead and support multiple technology projects, including assessing new solutions, system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Manage implementation of system upgrades and enhancements to align with departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with security requirements and oversee implementation for approved software solutions.
  • Create and manage technical project plans, schedules, and resources, including requirements, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders; facilitate decision‑making and resolve technical challenges.
  • Analyze and document complex workflows and automation within the department technology platforms.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick‑offs, design reviews, progress updates, and closure activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services – or an equivalent combination of education, skills and relevant experience.
  • 10 or more years of experience as a business systems analyst supporting key organizational functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of deep business knowledge/experience within any pillar of focus application.
  • 5 or more years of Project or Product Management experience; use of toolkits.
  • 5 or more years of experience working within corporate legal, risk, or compliance teams.
  • Proven expertise in decision‑making, prioritization, conflict resolution, community building and delivering on commitments.
  • Strong ability to define hypotheses, requirements, metrics and applications in collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in analyzing complex systems and interpreting large‑scale, high‑dimensional data from diverse sources using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Expert‑level knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Preferred experience with tools such as iManage, Riskonnect and Legal Tracker.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting new initiatives and a solid understanding of technology tools and applications commonly used in Legal, Risk, or Compliance environments.
Hybrid Work Policy

Hybrid work is available for candidates living within a daily commuting distance of 65 miles from any of our primary office locations (Washington, California, Oregon). The weekly hybrid schedule will be determined by the manager based on departmental needs.

Salary Ranges by Location
  • California – Los Angeles, Irvine: $71,230 – $121,290
  • Oregon – Portland Service Area: $68,330 – $116,360
  • Washington – Vancouver: $68,330 – $116,360
