Job Duties:
As a Data Engineer, the employee will be responsible for the following job duties:

  • Design and develop secure and scalable database architectures using SQL, MySQL, Teradata, and Oracle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between systems and ensure data integrity with Informatica Power Center or other ETL tools and SQL scripts.
  • Optimize database performance with data modeling, advanced indexing, and Python automation.
  • Manage installation, maintenance, and security of database systems, utilizing AWS and MS Suite tools.
  • Conduct data analysis, providing actionable insights and visualizations in Tableau and MS Suite.
  • Work with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions, and track the progress on Jira.
  • Develop custom database solutions with C++ and Java, integrating complex data systems.
  • Coordinate database projects, aligning with IT strategy and business goals.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate regular performance reports.
