The Coupa Technical Architects team is a core capability within the broader Solution Advisory team and is responsible for helping prospective and current customers to understand the overall Coupa Platform technology and how it is integrated with their IT strategy and existing (or to-be) landscape. Our approach is based on building trust with the layers of an IT organization to help them develop an understanding of how Coupa works, how it processes their data and how this is secured.

Part educational, part sales and part technical advisory.

• Strategic IT Partnership:
  Work as an integral part of the enterprise account team to define the strategic IT engagement approach and build deep trust and advocacy for the Coupa Platform within strategic, enterprise-level accounts.
• Technical Subject Matter Expert:
  Act as the lead technical expert in customer-facing engagements, providing comprehensive presentations, in-depth explanations, and detailed discussions on the Coupa platform's strategy and AI-driven approach.
• Platform & Security Evangelism:
  Clearly articulate the nuances of Coupa's cloud hosting infrastructure, overall product architecture, and robust security and compliance frameworks.
• Integration & Data Architecture:
  Demonstrate deep knowledge of complex integration scenarios with major ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, and D365 and explain Coupa's data management strategy, including how AI models are trained and data is processed securely.
• Technical Asset Development:
  Proactively create, review, and evolve a library of technical sales assets, including building compelling presentations, creating digital assets, recording technical videos, and generating other content to assist the sales team.
• RFP & RFI Technical Ownership:
  Serve as the key technical resource for the RFP team, responding to and reviewing all technology and security sections of RFI/RFPs, ensuring accuracy and positioning Coupa's technical advantages.

• Broad Technical & Cloud Acumen:
  Demonstrate comprehensive technical aptitude across multiple domains, including modern web-based applications and SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud models, and ability to discuss infrastructure, enterprise architecture, AI concepts, multi-layered security, and complex integration strategies with authority.
