Law firm is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities- Lead employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary actions
- Coordinate and administer leave programs in partnership with Benefits and Payroll teams
- Support professional staff performance management and retention initiatives
- Conduct exit interviews and post-onboarding follow-up discussions
- Collaborate with Office Managers to maintain consistency across offices
- Assist with firmwide HR initiatives (compensation, DEI, talent management, policy development, organizational change)
- Draft, update, and maintain professional staff job descriptions
- Bachelor s degree required
- At least 5+ years of progressive HR experience in legal or corporate work environment required
- Experience with CA labor laws a must
- Hands-on experience managing leave programs (FMLA, medical, parental, short-term disability)
