Overview

The Human Resources People Partner serves as a strategic role that aligns HR functions and business objectives, enhancing employee experience and driving success through expertise in employee relations and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance in employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in accordance with our Company policies, procedures and applicable state laws.
  • Partner with the Senior HR Manager, training and operations department to support training and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting and assist in on-site onboarding for new restaurant openings.
  • Partner with the Senior HR Manager to support compliance efforts, including wage & hour, health and safety.
  • Collaborate on the roll-out and execution of HR programs, policies, and systems.
  • Analyze people data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee and manage employee benefit programs and communications with employees about benefits.
  • Makes recommendations and provides solutions to resolve disputes.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and empathetic support across all HR functions and ensure that HR processes are set up and working in an efficient flow.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Completes various department reporting and becomes an expert in the HCM system. Responsible for spreadsheet/data management and creation of HR reports and employee communications as directed by Senior HR Manager.
  • Ensures accurate billing for employee benefits; audits each bill monthly to ensure proper billing and enrollment.
  • Responsible for leave management, ensures proper LOA procedures are followed, and all LOA team members are tracked, and appropriate benefit deductions are being received.
  • Manages all administrative duties for workers compensation.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Restaurant background or QSR experience required.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed for investigations or new restaurant openings
  • High integrity and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Dayforce HCM or similar HRIS experience required
  • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish
