What will you be doing in this roleThe Senior Organizational Development Partner is a key member of the Learning & Organizational Development (LOD) team, responsible for developing and leading scalable leadership, management, and employee development programs aligned with organizational goals. This involves conducting needs assessments, designing and implementing learning solutions, and managing both internal and external resources. The role focuses on driving performance improvements through program design, project management, and evaluation, ensuring that programs are sustainable and impactful in supporting individual, team, and organizational performance.
- Apply sound instructional design principles to develop and deliver impactful LOD solutions that align with organizational objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director, Talent Development, HR partners and leaders (as needed) to identify skill gaps, assess learning needs, and recommend targeted, high-value solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, ensuring content/experience is customized to address specific organizational priorities and drive outcomes.
- Lead LOD initiatives from conception to evaluation, ensuring timely design, development and execution; ensure adherence to budget parameters and alignment with organization / client goals.
- Design LOD programs that reinforce Cedars-Sinai values, encouraging an inclusive, diverse, and agile learning culture.
- Deliver engaging, high-impact staff, management, leadership and team development programs through workshops, coaching, and consultative guidance, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Facilitate interactive and dynamic learning experiences (instructor-led, virtual, and blended formats) on topics such as communication, management, leadership, career development, and professional skills.
- Leverage innovative learning methodologies (e.g., microlearning, gamification, interactive polls) to improve engagement and retention; collaborate with the Manager of Learning Technology for efficient integration.
- Serve as a consultative partner, collaborating with LOD management and HR teams to address development needs and recommend practical solutions that address target outcomes.
- Diagnose performance gaps and implement targeted solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Design tailored LOD solutions (e.g., team alignment, development planning, team sessions) to address client needs.
- Support change management initiatives as needed.
- Stay updated on LOD trends; integrate best practices into program design, development support and coaching.
Hybrid Remote = must currently live in Los Angeles area or willing to relocate to LA area for onsite requirements.
Qualifications Experience Requirements:- Seven (7) plus years of experience in Learning and Development, Organization Development, Human Resources or Management Consulting. Leadership development, career development and skills-based learning initiatives and competency frameworks experience required.
- Five (5) plus years of experience in designing learner-centric development programs incorporating adult learning principles and agile design methodology (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, RAPID).
- Solid grasp in facilitating both in-person and virtual learning sessions to a diverse audience.
- Experience in healthcare, large biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health sciences organizations is highly preferred.
- Hybrid remote requirement: must live in the Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate for onsite requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Organization Development, Organization Effectiveness, Leadership, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Educational Technology, Business Management or related area.
- Master’s degree preferred.
