Overview

The Hollywood Roosevelt - Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the full recruitment and hiring process, ensuring an efficient and positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders alike.
  • Facilitate onboarding and conduct new hire orientation, helping new team members feel welcomed and set up for success from day one.
  • Serve as a vital link between management and employees by responding to questions, providing guidance, and assisting with employee relations matters.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, respond to inquiries, and resolve benefit-related issues, while maintaining accurate team member records within the HRIS system.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager by providing payroll support, including processing assistance, data entry, and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
  • Support the Director of Human Resources with projects such as documenting HR policies and procedures, developing orientation programs, preparing turnover reports, and contributing to other initiatives that strengthen HR operations.
  • Provide support in other HR or administrative areas as needed.
Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented and service-driven HR professional with a solid foundation in human resources administration, particularly in recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable working in a Windows environment; eager to learn and utilize HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to build trust and work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
