About the Role
As the Payroll Administrator, you will actively participate in ensuring a timely and efficient payment of all US employees. Performs reconciliations, audits payroll and HR data as needed. Provides Workday reports for other departments as needed.
Your TeamYou will work with a team of approximately 4 located in the Northridge office.
What You Will Do- Process and maintain payroll information as required with an outsourced payroll environment using Workday software.
- Responsible for payroll data entry and analysis including but not limited to:
- Bank rejections
- LOA benefit repayments
- Payment's load
- Expat hypo
- Expat tax changes
- Tax setups
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of payroll by conducting Pre and Post Payroll Audits including but not limited to:
- New hire and re-hire employee lists
- Missing direct deposit payment elections
- Over 10,000 and zero pay employees
- Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships with other departments, demonstrates critical thinking to take appropriate risk, and makes sound and timely decisions, and capable of handling multiple projects.
- Clearing Workday, HR Connect and Outlook inboxes by answering questions pertaining to payroll or re-directing messages to the appropriate Payroll Administrator as required in a timely fashion.
- Garnishments: submit orders to ADP, review load errors and verify new additions.
- Review timecards for OT or DT hours, unapproved timecards.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in Payroll
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Team player with proven customer service skills
- Must be organized, detailed oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to effectively manage confidential information and work independently as necessary
- APA Certified Payroll Professional, PHR, SPHR certification desired
- International payroll experience a plus
- Quality assurance experience (problem solving, reviewing and upgrading existing procedures, KPI knowledge, etc.)
- Workday is a plus
- No travel needed
- Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA /Hybrid
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
