About The Role

The Employee Relations Specialist serves as a key member of our Human Resources team, responsible for fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and respect across PS’ portfolio of properties and HQ.

Reporting directly to the Head of People, this role partners closely with the Compliance & Ethics Department, in-house legal counsel, and HR Business Partners across the business to ensure consistent alignment of employee relations policies, investigatory practices, and training initiatives with Group standards.

The Employee Relations Specialist will lead the development and integration of the Group’s Code of Conduct, manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters, and act as a trusted advisor to HR business Partners and business leaders across the system.

Key Responsibilities

Code of Conduct & Policy Integration

  • Lead the design, integration and implementation of the Group’s Code of Conduct across all properties, support centers and HQ
  • Collaborate with the Compliance & Ethics Department to ensure employee relations policies and investigatory processes align with global compliance frameworks and regulatory obligations
  • Partner with in-house Legal Counsel and HR team to maintain and update the Employee Handbook, ensuring consistency across jurisdictions and compliance with evolving local labor laws.

Employee Relations & Investigations

  • Conduct thorough, objective, and confidential investigations into sensitive employee relations issues, including Code of Conduct violations, workplace conflicts, and complaints
  • Advise HR teams and leadership on complex employee relations cases, performance management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness and adherence to Group best practices
  • Maintain comprehensive case documentation and support consistent application of investigatory procedures across all markets

Training & Development

  • Develop and deliver manager training programs focused on employee relations best practices, Code of Conduct expectations, and evolving employment law trends
  • Partner with Learning & Development and regional HR teams to embed ethics, compliance, and respectful workplace principals into leadership and onboarding programs

Project & Systems Management

  • Project manage the implementation and enhancement of the Group’s case management system, ensuring adoption, data accuracy, and global reporting consistency
  • Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas of opportunity, risk, and improvement, and present findings to senior HR leadership
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to HR business Partners and property leadership, promoting a fair, transparent, and ethical workplace culture
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, and HR Operations teams to harmonize processes and strengthen organizational accountability
  • Support the Head of People in developing global employee relations strategies and initiatives that reinforce PS’ values and brand promise

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree of HR certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive employee relations experience, preferable within a global, multi-brand, or luxury hospitality organization
  • Proven experience conducting and managing complex, cross-regional workplace investigations
  • Deep understanding of global employment practices, compliance frameworks, and ethical standards
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence across cultures and organizational levels
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with experience implementing HR or case management systems
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and sound professional judgement

Salary Range: $,000 Annually
