Responsibilities

Senior Associate, HR M&A — PEPI

We are seeking a Senior Associate level project manager for a dedicated PEPI HR M&A position. A strong candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in an HR consulting role. Depth in a given area of HR consulting (e.g., retirement / actuarial, healthcare / benefits, executive compensation, or HR operations) is preferred. HR generalists with strong project management skills may apply, but depth in total rewards or supported M&A projects is favored.

The role will vary across the transaction lifecycle and requires strong project management, multitasking, and clear communication skills. Senior Associates interact with colleagues across A&M's Private Equity Services teams, private equity investment professionals, legal counsel, and executives of potential acquisition targets.

On an average transaction, responsibilities may include managing the online data room, providing calculations of risk and exposure to key HR issues, liaising with client advisors, and drafting diligence reports. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Preparing initial observations through public document reviews
  • Reviewing the virtual data room and preparing subsequent request lists
  • Building and managing financial models (workforce planning tools, total rewards quantification, compensation planning, etc.)
  • Coordinating across other practice groups within A&M
  • Input into Human Capital diligence reports
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, actuarial science, statistics, economics, mathematics, business, accounting, or finance
  • 3–6 years of experience
  • Strong analytic skills; high proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Prior M&A experience highly considered
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
  • Flexible work schedule; M&A projects often involve tight timelines
