Senior HR Specialist is the primary focal point for interface and coordination with MD31 / PNT SYD and provides technical guidance and consultation assistance to managers and employees regarding all areas of the Human Resource, Personnel, and Administrative processes. (MD31 / PNT SYD)
Specific Duties- Education, Professional Development and Recognition Program: plan, organize, and evaluate the organization’s training and professional development program for assigned personnel. Monitor and report to the Government that personnel receive initial, recurring and annual training as required in support of the Air Force and Space Force training program.
- Performance Management: track the organization’s military performance reports, feedback forms, military promotion forms, stratifications, and force shaping forms in accordance with regulations. The force shaping boards include, but are not limited to, Reduction in Force, Temporary Early Retirement Authority, Voluntary Separation Plan, and Enhanced Selective Early Retirement Boards.
- Manpower, Personnel, and Information Management: provide guidance and recommendations on completing manpower and personnel documentation; and maintain the unit personnel management roster, organizational charts, unit manning document, and related organizational rosters related to personnel management activities including the oversight and management of military assignment cycle boards.
- Minimum Education & Certification(s): BA/BS Degree Required, MA/MS Preferred.
- Minimum Years of Experience and/or Expertise: 10+ Years’ Experience Required.
- Clearance: Secret.
Salary information below is a general guide only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Mental Demands:
Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
