The Overnight Cleaner at Fairmont Century Plaza is responsible for ensuring the smooth overnight maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel's public areas, guest spaces, and operational facilities. This position includes performing deep-cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning standards, and supporting the overall presentation of the property to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors
• Assist the Supervisor in completion of special requests or miscellaneous projects
• Deep clean and keep orderly all assigned public areas; use odor controls as necessary
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision following a routine schedule of cleaning
• Sign in and out master keys, radios and mobile electronics daily
• Be familiar with the hotel’s technology and communication platforms, and utilize them to ensure hotel operation and guest satisfaction
• Remove trash from public areas (offices, cubicles, desks, lobby, restrooms, patios, pool, etc.)
• Empty trash in all public areas and clean public restrooms
• Restock public restrooms with necessary supplies for proper sanitation and standards
• Stock, clean and organize all janitorial storages, ensuring they are supplied with the necessary items to address spills, trash and stocking of public restrooms
• Clean mirrors, windows, dust all surfaces; keep brass shiny
• Clean elevator cabins, floors, tracks and buttons; clean escalator steps, tracks, walls and railing
• Vacuum carpets and walk-off mats and spot clean carpets where needed
• Clean hard-to-reach surfaces like high ceilings, baseboards, air vents, high shelves, high windows, chandeliers, etc.
• Sanitize F&B countertops, surfaces and touchpoints; dust, sweep, mop, vacuum
• Walk through F&B spaces to ensure cleanliness
• Clean and stock the Green Rooms and associated restrooms, before, during and after use
• Actively assist in the safety and security of our guests and associates by reporting suspicious behavior or packages to Security or Management
• Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office
• Follow all departmental policies and procedures and service standards
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Adhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies
• Adhere to SDS information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace
• Familiar with all public restrooms, offices and meeting spaces within the building
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned
