This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the team as a Host at the #1 Hotel in Los Angeles, as voted by Travel and Leisure:
Oceana in Santa Monica, CA. This oceanfront, all-suite hotel reopened in July 2019 after undergoing a $35 million complete transformation. The restaurant will be newly renovated and relaunched with a brand-new concept and dining room design by Martin Brudnizki. The restaurant will feature a refreshed dining concept inspired by Santa Monica’s lush natural beauty. We are now seeking motivated and enthusiastic professionals to join our team as integral members.

• Utilize prior experience in fine dining to manage waiting lists, provide accurate wait times, answer phones, take reservations, and assist with other tasks as needed.
• Serve as the first point of contact, warmly welcoming guests as they arrive and seating them at appropriate tables.
• Maintain organizational standards in the dining room and food service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Engage guests and team members with a friendly, efficient, high-touch approach; address concerns and escalate complaints as needed.
• Work a full-time hospitality schedule defined by operational needs, including weekends and holidays.

• Experience in fine dining preferred.
• Must conform to hotel dress and grooming standards (dress code, no visible tattoos while in uniform, no unnatural hair colors, no piercings other than one pair of earrings, neatly groomed facial hair).
• Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills.

• Vacation accrual: 80 hours in the first year; up to 80 hours of paid sick leave per year.
• Holiday pay or paid holidays for six annual holidays (if working or scheduled off).
