Principal Patient Safety Officer at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is full time and will work 8‑hour day shifts.

Under the general supervision of the South Bay Community Administrative Director/Patient Safety Officer, you will design, implement, manage and evaluate the South Bay Community patient safety program. The program manager may be primarily located at one of the acute ministries within the South Bay (San Pedro or Torrance) but will be expected to work throughout the continuum of the South Bay Community.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field.
• 5 years of acute care hospital experience.

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field.
• Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) upon hire.
• 2 years of patient safety experience.
