Overview
The Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging Services organizes and directs the activities of the Diagnostic Imaging Services (including X-ray, Fluoro, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Density) of Facey Medical Foundation - Ancillary Services. The provision of safe, efficient, cost effective, quality imaging services is the focus of the departmental operations. Responsible for implementing departmental goals and objectives, develops and assures professional clinical standards are met.
Works closely with the Senior Manager, Director, PACS Administrator, and radiologists to ensure that the Facey - Ancillary imaging services are effectively coordinated. The Supervisor coordinates the daily operations through close interaction with colleagues, staff, physicians, administrative and nursing personnel, and medical offices. Serves as a catalyst and mentor for motivating productivity, innovation, high employee morale and commitment to the organization.
The Facey - Ancillary Services:
Imaging Department provides imaging services for Providence Health System 7-days on a weekly basis.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program.
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
- California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit upon hire or
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire or
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire or
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire or
- National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire or
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 5 years of working as a Radiologic or Nuclear Technologist.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity in a Radiology Department.
