Overview
Volunteer Services is currently seeking adult and student volunteers. We currently have 3 categories of volunteers:
High School (at least 16 years old and a Sophomore), College and Adults. Adults are primarily not in school. When applying, indicate which category you are.
- The Music Enrichment Volunteer will play an instrument for a pre-determined amount of time in the Hospital Lobby and Nursing units.
- The purpose is to create a calming atmosphere for visitors, patients, and staff, and to promote healing and recovery.
- They will go through an audition process and be responsible for playing hospital-appropriate music approved by staff.
- Any gratuities need to be turned into the Volunteer Services Department.
- Eligibility:
High School student (at least 16 years old) or College/Adult volunteer. - Ability to play an instrument and perform in a hospital setting.
- Ability to adhere to hospital policies and staff-approved music.
CDC requirements strongly adhered to.
