Facility: DSH - Metropolitan
Responsibilities- Under the general direction of the Department of Social Work Services, provide mental health treatment for individuals experiencing mental and emotional disorders.
- Deliver both individual and group therapy, addressing needs of patients with chronic illness, challenging behaviors, addictions, and other specialized mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams in an inpatient forensic psychiatric setting.
Notes: This advertisement will run until filled with review dates on the 1st and 15th of each month. Metropolitan State Hospital is located in Norwalk.
Requirements- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in a mental health setting.
- Active LMFT licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) is highly desired.
