ResponsibilitiesServes as a Section Manager of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Center Inglewood. Responsibilities may include daily operations of the Multi-functional Center, which may involve:
- Determinations
- Appeals
- Adjustments
- Over payments
- Payment Authorization
- Clerical and Claim Filing staff supervision
- Direct supervision of Unit Managers; may supervise custodial and clerical staff
- Organizing workflow and resources to achieve production quality objectives
The candidate must foster and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers, gather and analyze data, formulate, implement, and evaluate multiple programs, and enable implementation of EDD’s mission, values, management philosophy, and customer service standards.

Vision and goal orientation; strategic thinking; results-driven; concise and professional writing skills; familiarity with progressive discipline and corrective action processes; proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); effective time management and organizational skills.
